With the approval of H.E Governor Mutahi Kahiga, following the revision of Covid-19 containment measures and cognizant of the effect on the economy, I hereby grant the following waivers and deadline extensions.
1. 50% waivers of PSV matatus monthly fees until lifting of the movement restriction measures issued by H.E the President.
2. 50% waiver of monthly market banda fees for the month of April, 2021
3. 100% waiver of accrued penalties on houses, shops & stalls rents for those who will clear by 30th April 2021
4. Extension of deadline for payment of business permits up to 30th April 2021
5. Extension of deadline for payment of Landrates up to 30th April 2021
6. 25% waiver of liquor license fees extended upto 30th June 2021
Kindly note and ensure compliance, further be reminded to keep safe by observing the public health guidelines on Covid-19 containment measures.
