This project was jointly undertaken by Polish Development Co-operation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs-Republic of Poland, the Emergency Medicine Kenya Foundation (EMKF) and the County Government of Nyeri. During the inspection accompanied by the Head of the Polish Development Co-operation Pawel Pijanowski we were given a guided tour of the revamped 13-bed capacity A&E facility by NCRF’s Emergency Medical & Critical Care Specialist Eric Waruinge, showcasing the Unit’s modernized beds, vitals monitors, oxygen-ready ports and contemporary nurses’ station.
