The Nyeri County Referral hospital has received 2 new dialysis machines to boost the renal unit in the hospital.
These medical equipment donated by Angelica Medical Supplies in partnership with National Bank of Kenya and Rosche Company will be used in treatment of all renal patients in the facility.
H.E Governor Mutahi Kahiga while receiving the equipment noted that they will go a long way in boosting the renal department of the Referral hospital. The total dialysis machines now totals to 7. The Governor also said his government is in talks with Angelica Medical Supplies to have 3 more dialysis machines added which will enable the facility to serve 20 patients per day.
Angelica Medical Supplies Executive Director Ms. Mary Matu and Bernadette Ngara, Director Marketing and Corporate Communications in National Bank of Kenya also said that Angelica Medical Supplies and National Bank of Kenya will renovate two wards in the referral hospital.
In attendance were Deputy Governor Dr.Caroline Karugu, CEC Health Dr. Rachael Kamau, Chief Officer Health Services Newton Wambugu and Chief of Staff Paul Wambugu.
